He drove a broken down car.

Rusted and dirty.

His son brought him up to par,

But the old man still drove the car he’d had since he was thirty.

They say out with the old

And in with new.

But why can’t it be:

Out with the new

And in with the old.

We learn from the past.

We shouldn’t try to forget it.
